Cell

แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A unit of varying dimensions in a landfill which is isolated from the environment by 6 to 12 inches of soil cover. A cell is one day's waste or less. A cell is covered with soil at the end of each day.

Autotrophic

แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) Organisms which utilize inorganic carbon for synthesis of protoplasm. Ecologists narrow the definition further by requiring that autotrophs obtain their energy from the sun. In microbiologist parlance, this would be a photoautotroph. See photoautotrophic and chemoautotrophic.

Internal force:

แปลว่า(english) Forces which hold an object together when external forces or other loads are applied. Internal forces are sometimes called resisting forces since they resist the effects of external forces.

Construction Joint

แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The contact between the placed concrete and concrete surfaces, against or upon which concrete is to be placed and to which new concrete is to adhere, that has become so rigid that the new concrete cannot be incorporated integrally by vibration with that previously placed. Unformed construction joints are horizontally placed or nearly so.

Plasticity

แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) Property of freshly mixed concrete, cement paste or mortar which determines its ease of molding or resistance to deformation.

Wetland

แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) Semi-aquatic land, that is land that is either inundated or saturated by water for varying periods of time during each year, and that supports aquatic vegetation which is specifically adapted for saturated soil conditions.

Brasses

แปลว่า(english) Copper base alloys in which zinc is the principal alloying element. Brass is harder and mechanically stronger than either of its alloying elements copper or zinc. It is formable and ductile; develops high tensile strength with cold-working and is not heat treatable.

Ion exchange

แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) An adsorption process in which one ion is exchanged for another ion of like charge. There is an equivalence of exchanged charge.

Baseline

แปลว่า(Software Engineering) a point at which some deliverable produced during the software engineering process is put under formal change contro เส้นอ้างอิง ใช้สำหรับการวางผัง หรือการสำรวจ

Retempering

แปลว่า(Concrete Engineering) The addition of water and remixing of concrete which has started to stiffen: usually not allowed as it may affect the ultimate strength.

Suspended growth reactor

แปลว่า(Environmental Engineering) A reactor in which the microorganisms are suspended in the wastewater. Examples of suspended growth reactors are activated sludge reactors and anaerobic digesters. See attached growth reactor.
